What’s Changing, and Why, in 2026.

Since we’re getting closer to 2026, I thought I’d give you all a little update on some changes in my business going forward. Regular clients, don’t panic – I’m making these changes with you very much in mind.

Focus on Training

I won’t be taking on any new dog walking clients – I’ll be focusing on supporting my current clients and expanding my work with training clients, which I’m really excited about.

Working with challenging, high-energy dogs over the past few years has deepened my love for training. I thrive on problem-solving and helping owners understand their dogs, offering practical, non-judgmental guidance.

My approach is dog-centred and holistic, considering each dog’s lifestyle, breed-specific needs, routines, enrichment, and overall wellbeing.

To provide more focused support, I’m introducing a few intensive training weeks in 2026. These are perfect for tackling reactivity, socialisation, and other challenges that benefit from a head start, helping dogs make faster progress than weekly sessions alone.

With a growing waitlist, these weeks will help dogs and owners get support sooner. I’ll share more details on my social media soon, but if you’re curious or want to chat sooner, just get in touch!

Continuing My Learning

I’ll also be off for some very exciting training myself soon, which will give me fresh skills and experiences to bring back to the dogs and owners I work with. I can’t say too much yet – but 🐕👃🏻🦺🚑 might give you a little hint!

Mentorship

I won’t be running paid adult mentorship courses next year, as I won’t have the time, but my free Teen Pet Business Mentorship Programme will continue. I’m incredibly passionate about this programme and love supporting the next generation of pet business owners as much as I can.

Final Notes

A few practical things to keep in mind for next year: holiday drop-in spaces will be very limited, and my service area will be restricted to Halkirk, Keiss, or Wick. I won’t be expanding beyond this for the foreseeable future.
